The old way vs the Hawk Calls way
Shared leads make you pay to lose. Exclusive calls let you win on your work.
The old way: shared leads
Five contractors, one homeowner.
- You pay whether you win or not. The lead is sold to several contractors at once, and only one of them books the job.
- You race on price. Four other quotes land before yours, so the cheapest number wins, not the best work.
- You pay for bad calls too. Wrong numbers, solicitors, and voicemails are charged on some platforms. On one named platform, a call that rings four times and goes to voicemail still counts as billable.
- You wait for a monthly report. You find out what happened after the money is gone.
The Hawk Calls way
One buyer, one trade, one market.
- The call goes to you alone. Nobody else is calling the same homeowner about the same job.
- You pay only when it qualifies. A call counts only when it meets the full printed list below.
- Missed calls and voicemails are $0. They go to overflow. They never burn trial.
- Every call is in your portal. Recording, status, trial count, and invoice line, visible to you the moment the call lands.
How it works
Four steps. Each one has its proof built in.
Apply for your market
Two minutes. Name, company, trade, ZIP, phone, email. No payment details, no sales call to apply.
We confirm your slot
Your trade and market are checked. One buyer per trade per market, so a taken slot is never shared out.
Qualified homeowners call you
Calls ring your existing business phone. You answer, you talk, you book the estimate.
You pay only if it qualifies
A call is checked against the printed list. If it qualifies, it counts. If it does not, it is $0.
The centrepiece
What counts as a qualified call. Printed in full.
This is the document that decides whether a call is billable. Read it before you apply, because a company that will not print its rules is asking you to trust its word instead.
A real homeowner with a real job, not a pitch and not a prank.
Inside your territory. A call from outside your area does not count.
Work you actually do, confirmed on the call and on the recording.
A real conversation. Not a hang up and not a pocket dial.
The same caller to the same site within 24 hours does not count twice.
Every call stands up to its own recording.
Never count.
Never count.
Never count.
Sent to overflow. Never billed, never burn trial.
Dispute within 48 hours, with the recording as evidence. Flag a call in the portal within 48 hours and it is decided Credit or Deny. A credited Billable call comes off your invoice. A credited trial call returns one trial call, up to 3. Our 48-hour window is tighter than eLocal at 4 days and Networx at 14 days. We keep it short so a dispute is decided while the call is still fresh, not weeks later.
